In Nigeria, the rate of youth not in education, employment or training is 31.4%, with youth making
up more than half of Nigeria’s population. Pursuant to the 2019 Memorandum of Understanding
between the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) and the Lagos State
Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), London Professional Training Centre was awarded a grant to train 120
unemployed youth.

After training these unemployed youth, we also supported them in getting paid internship opportunities, to upscale their skills and also earn at the same time.
