Who is it for?
Health & Social Care courses are ever increasing in popularity and as healthcare currently stands as the largest employment sector in the UK. There is a constant and ever-growing demand for employees in this field.
Care Managers manage health and social care services in UK. Some of these services include Care homes, Domiciliary care, Residential homes or Nursing homes.
The UK have added the care Manager role to the shortage occupation list due to the shortage of care Care managers in the UK. This means UK employers can recruit care managers and offer a work permit to work in the UK.
This Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care will qualify you to secure a Job in the UK as a Manager or Team Lead.
This is the main qualification required by the Care Quality Commission in England and the Care Councils in Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Training is delivered on-line via our LMS portal and also Virtual classes.
What will I learn?
Learners will have to complete the following modules:
- Facilitating Change in Health and Social Care
- Managing Communication
- People Management
- Management of Safeguarding for Health and Social Care
- Working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams
Students will require a suitable work placement to complete this course. It is recommended that students have the placement for the duration of their studies. This could be a paid position or a voluntary position. The placement needs to be sufficient to enable students to gather the required workplace evidence for each of the course units, and the work will need to be signed off by an appropriate person (Manager or Supervisor) within the organisation through witness testimonies.
We will provide work placement for learners who do not have the appropriate work placement. International candidates can also visit the UK to visit our partner care homes and also attend mentorship sessions.
Job support: After the training, we can refer candidates to employers, support with job application and also provide employment references.
