World Food Safety Workshop
London Professional Training Centre, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of
Health and Social Welfare, Lagos Nigeria, successfully hosted the International World
Food Safety Workshop titled “Prepare for the Unexpected” on June 6, 2024. The
workshop brought together over 100 physical attendees and 300 virtual participants
from different states in Nigeria to discuss and address critical issues in food safety and
preparation.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of food safety and to
equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to handle unexpected
challenges in the food industry. With a focus on best practices, emerging trends, and
innovative solutions, the workshop provided a platform for experts, policymakers, and
industry professionals to engage in meaningful discussions and knowledge-sharing
sessions.
Key highlights of the workshop include interactive panel discussions, expert
presentations, case studies, and hands-on demonstrations. Participants had the
opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field, exchange ideas, and network with
peers to enhance their understanding of food safety practices and protocols.
The workshop also featured keynote addresses from distinguished speakers, including
representative from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare Lagos Nigeria,
and international organizations dedicated to promoting food safety and public health.

International World Food Safety Workshop served as a timely and valuable platform for
stakeholders to come together, collaborate, and prepare for the unexpected challenges
that may arise in ensuring the safety and quality of our food supply.
